Processing and Delivery Times

• Secure delivery (loss, theft, breakage): €7.90 — €4.90 for purchases of €49 or more

These rates apply to all destinations. Shipping costs are displayed before payment confirmation.

C. Carrier

Depending on your location, delivery is provided by La Poste or a local partner carrier.

D. Order Tracking

A tracking number is provided by email once your order has shipped.

Tracking generally becomes active within 2 to 5 business days after shipping.

E. Order Modification or Cancellation

Any modification or cancellation must be requested within 24 hours of placing the order.

Once the package has shipped, no modifications are possible.

F. Damaged Package or Delivery Issue

If your package arrives damaged or presents an issue, please contact our customer service department as soon as possible with supporting photos.

We will offer you a suitable solution (replacement or refund, depending on the case).

What is Tenko?

Tenko is a French boutique specializing in all things Japanese, founded in Brittany and now based in Paris. You will find Japanese clothing (kimonos, kimono jackets, haoris, sukujans, jinbei), Japanese decor (lanterns, posters, noren, maneki-neko), Japanese tableware, and Japanese jewelry. Our small team selects each product for both enthusiasts and the curious.

What is the difference between a kimono, a yukata, and a kimono jacket?

The kimono is the traditional Japanese garment, long and worn with an obi belt. The yukata is its lightweight cotton version, worn in summer and at festivals. How do I choose the right size?

The size guides on our product pages are already converted into European sizes: simply choose your usual size using the chart. Since our clothing is made in Asian sizes, the label on the garment you receive will show an Asian size, which is often 1 to 2 sizes larger: this is normal, and the garment will correspond to the European size you ordered. What are the delivery times?

Your order is prepared within 2 to 5 business days and then shipped within 6 to 15 business days depending on your location, making it 8 to 20 business days in total. Some items are shipped from our logistics partners in Asia, which explains these timeframes. You can find all the details on our delivery page.

How much does delivery cost?

Standard delivery costs €3.90 and is free for purchases of €49 or more. Insured delivery (loss, theft, damage) costs €7.90, or €4.90 for purchases of €49 or more.

Do you deliver outside of France?

Yes, we deliver to mainland France, the French overseas departments and territories, Europe, and worldwide. Depending on the delivery country, customs formalities may apply.

How can I track my order?

A tracking number is sent to you by email as soon as your package has been shipped. It becomes active within 2 to 5 business days. Remember to check your spam folder. You can also track your order here.

Can I return an item?

Yes, you have 14 days after receipt to request a return by first writing to us at contact@tenko.fr. The item must be unused and in its original condition. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the product is defective or the error was ours. The refund is issued within 14 business days after receipt of the package. What Japanese gift idea should I choose?

For a Japanese gift that will be appreciated: a furoshiki, a lucky maneki-neko, a bento box, a teapot, a set of chopsticks, a piece of jewelry, or a kimono jacket. Our Japanese accessories and decor are suitable for all budgets.
