A Sakura Kimono for a stroll under blooming bamboo in spring
Green bamboo stalks rise high on either side of a dirt path, a flower pinned in the hair catches the light filtered through the leaves. The pastel fabric of the kimono blends with the scenery, the flowing sleeves following the movement of a raised arm towards a branch. Each step remains measured, almost hesitant, as if not to crease the fabric or lose the balance of the drape. One stops for a moment to adjust the small bag hanging from the wrist, before resuming the walk among the stalks.
