- Installation advice: This futon is designed for optimal comfort when used on a Japanese tatami mattress base. (two models available in our collection), a lightweight wooden box spring, or as a mattress topper. Although it can be placed directly on the floor, we recommend these supports for better support.
Possibility of adding a fitted sheet for additional protection.
